Eric Ellis, the founder of Positive Message Music is best known as the President and CEO of Integrity Development Corporation, a management consulting firm, that specializes in working with clients to design value-added Diversity & Inclusion solutions.
Ellis founded Positive Message Music following the tragic death of a 15 year old, West Chester teenager, Amber Robinson who was murdered while trying to break up a fight between two rival groups. He begin focusing on creative ways to enroll young people to develop solutions to a culture that continually seeks to tear down their values.
What begin in his home office as an idea, has now grown to a revolutionary music company with a powerful message focused on encouraging and recruiting young people to write and share original music of substance.
Our vision is simple "Create and inspire the creation of music of substance." We believe that Positive Message Music can move the mind, heart, body, and soul in a way that brings about change in the broader community.
Positive Message Music Definition
Our definition of Positive Message Music is music that does not use profanity or has degrading messages. Young people most often express that they are primarily attracted to the instrumental music or "the beat" of a song and the content of the words ar secondary.
Our concept seeks to inspire young artist to create the best sounding rythms with lyrics that incorporate social and moral values.
Our view is that music gives birth to beliefs, standards, and behaviors. If the messages delivered in music are built on a value s based foundation, people are often moved towards thoughts and actions that reflect those values.
